These coverage’s are allowing our agency the ability to encompass all phases of insurance needs for your marijuana business.  Western Pacific and Hudson Insurance have developed these key coverages in an attempt to gain market share in the Cannabis Arena.  Here are the highlights Western Pacific Insurance and Virtus Underwriting Group have teamed up with one of our binding facilities to now offer premises liability and property coverage for medical and recreational marijuana dispensaries and growing facilities. Medical marijuana is legalized or effectively decriminalized in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Some of the Western states include Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington

  • A” Rated carrier with A.M. Best
  • Coverage is only available in states that have legalized the sale of recreational or medical marijuana and growing facilities.
  • General Liability and Property coverage available.
  • $1,000 GL MP per classification and $1,000 Property MP applies.
  • $1,000 MP claims made products coverage. Occurrence basis available.
  • Premises/Ongoing Operations Liability will be provided on an occurrence basis at maximum limits of 1M occurrence/2M aggregate.
  • The total allowable limit for business income coverage may not exceed 50% of the total insured value.
  • Theft Sublimit of $25K for non-perishable/$5K for perishable BPP.
